Pottery Classes

Classes are run from my pottery, with 5 wheels, and 2 kilns firing pots to earthenware and stoneware.

The Maltings Pottery is a light and airy spacious studio in Halstead on the Essex/Suffolk border. I keep my classes small to allow for individual tuition. The creative atmosphere encourages beginners and advanced students to design unique pieces and to develop their own style. I pride myself in caring for my students pots throughout the process from wet clay to the finished product.

All beginners start by learning hand building techniques before moving onto the potters wheel.

Adult 1-1 private lessons and group bookings are also available.
